The forward slash, question mark ?/ keyboard key doesn't toggle layer lock when multiple layers are selected, like it does when only one layer is selected. Why?

For many versions now (as far back as I can remember) the forward slash key has toggled a layer's lock setting, defaulting to "Lock All" is no locking setting was previously set for a layer -BUT- if a layer had been previously locked, then the forward slash key would toggle that previously used lock setting. Very handy little ui feature!
But now with the CS6's implementation of multiple layer locking, this keyboard shortcut was omitted . . . perhaps forgotten.

Correct. It's a feature that hasn't been implemented.

Right.

Not being accustomed to all the little changes in CS6 yet I keep hitting forward slash without even thinking about, with multiple layers selected. (using CS5 at work doesn't help when trying to get in the flow of CS6)

Here:

it's stated that "Allow locking of multiple selected layers" is one of the JDI improvements.

So, I think we can conclude that the forward slash key was simply forgotten. Seems illogical that it still works on a single layer, but not multiple.

Thanks for your response.

Yup. May have been an oversight or intentional. Sent a note to the team to get it on their radar.
