I am considering bying the 6d mark ii, but the reviews has been quite bad on the image quality. But after reading this rewiew (https://www.thephoblographer.com/2017/09/25/weve-updated-canon-6d-mk-ii-review-raw-file-versatility-...) telling that the processing of the raw files is not so bad when developing with Capture one, I wonder if Adobe is considering to check if the processing of 6d mark ii files can be improved to the same level as in Capture one, or even make it better than Capture One.

Sample Canon 6D Mark II files are available for download on the web.
Trial versions of both software packages are available. It would be a simple matter to test for yourself whether the review is accurate, a paid shill, or someone with an axe to grind.

I have not seen any reports (other than this) of 6D MKII renderings being particularly bad.

There are some advocates of Capture One over Lightroom for raw processing. Here is an interesting article for you to read in that regard: https://lightroomkillertips.com/brilliant-article-martin-evening-lightroom-vs-capture-one-pro/

Then decide for yourself.

Beyond that, to answer your questions directly, Adobe continues to fine tune information for many cameras. That said, they don't normally share information until work is complete -  if at all.
