Lightroom: 5D Mark III RAW files freezing LR4.1 on import (camera not attached)

Hey everyone, so far, this has happened on 2 separate machines, both running LR 4.1 and with 2 different 5D mark IIIs. I have 1 Mac and 1 PC and it's happening on both. I plug my card into my card reader, dump to my hd and then import via "Add" option so no copying or moving is taking place. I select my images to import, click import and then LR freezes on the import operation and sits there with an unmoving progress bar, until I cancel or close. Is this a known issue? Before installing 4.1 I was converting to dng and it was working fine. Any ideas/help would be awesome! Running 10.7.3 on the Mac and Windows 7 64-bit on the PC.

I have just imported from Bridge to a folder and now moving the files over in Lightroom. A work around but so far seems to be working.

ok so got a bit of a workflow. Import images through Bridge or just straight from card to a folder then move images with Lightroom to the final folder you want images to reside. I just did this for 1600 images for a HDR time lapse. So far so good just exporting the tifs to then batch.
