Photoshop: 4-band aerial photo editing

We are having issues with editing 4-band aerial photos in Photoshop.  Typically we are using the Clone Stamp to copy a portion of roadway and replace a distorted section of the same road as it goes under a bridge.  This works fine, except that it does not seem to include the NIR band (we get the "shadow" of the original NIR).  When viewing the NIR image, this seems most prominent when there is an actual shadow from the bride, but we can also see where the lane lines were after the edit is complete.  Are we missing something that would include all 4 bands when using the Clone Stamp?

We are using PS 19.1.5, images are RGBN tif

Please post meaningful screenshots including all pertinent Panels.

Are you working on Multichannel images or RGB images with an additional Channel?
Which Channels do you select when Clone Stamping?

Thanks for your reply.  I'm working from home and have a terrible connection with my work computer, so I can't get screenshots at this time.  We started using the 4-band image after using RGB prior, so now that I see you asking what channels we are selecting it makes me wonder.  Since our process didn't change, I'll have to look at that but, if the default hasn't changed, we might only have 3 bands selected for Clone Stamp.  Hopefully I can check that out today.

Thank you for what probably should have been an obvious question.  Seems we just needed to have the IR channel selected along with RGB in Clone Stamp.  I am nowhere near proficient with PS, so had no clue this was an option.  At least with your help we were able to solve it pretty quickly once the issue was raised.  Cheers.
