Got Creative Cloud. This evening got an Update for After Effects and Photoshop. In Photoshop i now lost 3D acceleration. My lap is ok. No problems before update. No problems with premiere. It looks it was really the Photoshop update

I have a Dell Inspiron 17 SE i7

Post the video card section of Help -> System Info.
Most likely your driver has a problem, or has crashed and forced the GPU acceleration code to be disabled - in order to prevent Photoshop from crashing in the driver code.

Video card is GeForce NVIDIA GT 650 M
latest driver: 320.49

In nvidia preferences it states it uses all cuda - gpu's

In the list you mentioned, i am unsure about this 'video section' and it is in dutch.
(: will be my translation)

It tells the GPU sniffer has halted, and no OpenGL

Used Photoshop in start of evening before i updated. No problem.

copy system info:

Adobe Photoshop Versie: 14.1.1 (14.1.1 20130910.r.414 2013/09/10:23:00:00) x64

"latest driver" could mean many things. Did you update the driver correctly from Nvidia, or make a big mistake and update it from Microsoft?

no Nvidia does the driver test and installs it.
I do not know about this. I have crreative cloud for three months. Several updates also with Photoshop, and nothing wrong. The warning in Photoshop itself (since this last update) says it cannot find the minimum of 520 vRam. The GT 650 has 2Gb. When i do a test with Pasmark Performance test. No complaints.
So it can be a combination of whatever.
For me as a consumer, i see I get an Photoshop update and after that it starts complaining. So for me it is not strange to think something is wrong with the update.
But i will again check nVidia and install latest driver from there. Ofcourse i will tell if that solves the little problem.
And i will wait for a new Photoshop cloud update

By the way, thx for your interest

Ok, we can close now.
So you phoned NVidia :-)
Anyway they came up with a new driver, release date today.
I installed it.

Problems solved.
as said, thx for feedback

We do talk to the GPU makers rather frequently....
But I didn't even know about this recent update release.

Glad to hear that you have it working again.
