Photoshop files will freeze during saving. For some reason in PS 2020 large files will quit saving at any random percentage mark. This is a problem with a number of users and it has cost many of us hours and hours of lost time and lost files. The file saves fine to a point and then at some point the save freezes and unless the user is "saving as" they will not know the save has frozen unless they are noting the percentage counter. Ie. if your working and key stroke saving (command S) along the way, you may not realize your file quit saving 8 hours ago and is frozen on x%. When this happens, PS still allows work to be done on the file but you can not save ANYTHING. New files won't even save. So you can't copy and paste the layers into a new file and save it. When this occurs you can not quit or even force quit PS. The only way to reboot the software is to completely shut down your computer via a hard shut down. I love some of the new features in 2020 but I CAN NOT risk losing more work and missing deadlines because of this glitch. I have had to go back to 2019 as a safety measure until 2020 is fixed.
