2015 MacBook Pro - Trackpad 'click-hold then drag' unresponsive in Photoshop Only

Photoshop CC 2015.0.1
Bridge 6.1.1.10
Camera Raw 9.3.0.506
OS X 10.11.1

2015 MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015)
2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2048 MB

When using the Trackpad, traditional Click-and-Hold+Drag frequently does not function. eg., I can not move sliders in Camera Raw or Photoshop, or resize a crop box once locking on to a corner by clicking and holding the left side of the trackpad and then moving my other finger to drag it.

To clarify: When I “click-and-hold” the trackpad button to lock onto something and then move another finger around to drag an object or use a brush - the dragging finger will not register and the mouse pointer stays completely frozen in place.

I returned the new MacBook to Apple, who exchanged it to rule out hardware issues, but unfortunately the identical problem exists with the replacement unit.

There’s no problem in CC when using a bluetooth mouse instead of the trackpad, and the trackpad problem does not occur within the OS itself, or in apps such as Safari, iTunes, etc. It’s isolated to Adobe PS and ACR.

Any help would be much appreciated. I only bought the laptop for Photoshop/ACR, but those apps are unusable for me.

Thank You.
