Are you installing from a DVD or with an installer from here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html

I can see your serial #s here: https://accounts.adobe.com/products Are you sure you're entering the CS5 upgrade serial # and not a prior version serial #?

I goofed on the serial # .. so (and, btw, thanks!) it IS installing... HOWEVER... it's asking me to 'quit

Safaricloudhistorypushagent' which I've found in the activity monitor AND... cannot figure how to 'quit' it.  I've only 1% to go... ah.. so near and  yet so far!

Ideas?  I didn't come this far to only come this far :)

THANKS!!!

can't find (to delete) the Safari plist ..... to dump it.  Just not sure how to accomplish this... or if this is what is being asked of me.

Safaricloudhistorypushagent is what needs to be 'quit'.... (huh?)

Double click on the process in the activity monitor, when the dialog opens up, there is a button to quit/exit the process.

wow :)  am doing that now....

Got tired of watching paint dry and am downloading another photo program in case I don't get my PS back.

Will check back when all is well.  BLESS YOU (for knowing the answers here!)

I REALLY want to thank you... I'm back at work.

Yes, I have to redo ALL my 'actions' .... and Kubota Dashboard... fortunately I've kept those in a separate folder (which I'll find when the correct video card gets here and I can see my desktop the size it's supposed to be!)
