“The Raya Pro 2.8 extension could not be loaded because it was not properly signed”

In Photoshop CC 2017 I am running "Raya Pro 2.0" and have been successfully for almost 1 year – I now get a dialog box that says

“The Raya Pro 2.8 extension could not be loaded because it was not properly signed”

It recommends that I uninstall Photoshop and delete certain folders and then reload photoshop. I have done this repeatedly, but I still come up with the same problem. Any suggestions are welcome?

You need to go to Jimmy's site and download the update - http://www.shutterevolve.com/raya-pro-user/. A note from him "Recently some users of Raya Pro and InstaMask have experience an error, where the panels have not been signed correctly. We fixed this problem within 2 hours of it first happening. Apologies for any inconvenience.

You now need to install the latest version of Raya Pro/InstaMask.

To do that, please log in to your account using the link below. Before you log in, YOU MUST read the login instructions so you know how to log in."

Thanks for the tip. I would say that the Photoshop error message points to an article that advises the user to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop. Perhaps a bit of a draconian advice.

Jimmy sent out an email notice that he had rushed to address his first known issue with Raya Pro in three years following a recent Photoshop update.  The fix is available via his website. I now get the same error but have not loaded the update yet. Will probably do that today.

*UPDATE* Didn't see Jerry's reply until I posted this. Sorry for the duplication.
