If your computer was interrupted while saving your image file could have been corrupted, rendering it unrecoverable unless you have a backup. I have recently had problems with Photoshop unable to open certain files that should be fine: I ended up opening them successfully with Affinity Photo and re-saving it. You might have similar luck with other applications that are able to open images, like Gimp. Your luck on recovery may vary on how much fancy stuff you've done in your PSD: other programs may have problems knowing what to do with smart layers, for instance. Good luck!

Now you may recover .psd image by any methods:

- open it in another version of Adobe Photoshop one of the ultimate
- saving it with another extension, it helps quite often
- using some online file service, which are very popular now
- applying third party software Photoshop Restore Toolbox, I mentioned that software I remembered, ow, here you can get its demo https://www.restoretools.com/photoshoprestore.html
