Lightroom 6.9: "Open Old Contextual Print" menu item?

When I right-click on the top level folder of a drive, I get a drop-down menu that includes a baffling item named "Open Old Contextual Print". Harmless, but sloppy.

I'm guessing this is testing code someone forgot to turn off.

This is in LR 6.9 (not CC).

After updating to 6.10 (released earlier today) do you still see this strange menu option?

Yes, that menu option still appears after upgrading to 6.10. However, triaging this a bit more I accidentally noticed something that may be a useful clue: I have folders from two drives (C: and D:) but that strange menu option only shows up in the menu for the top-level folder of the 2nd drive (D:). I'm guessing if you only have photos from a single drive, you'll never see this. See the screenshots below.

I think we are to the bottom of it. 

I am guessing that at one time, Lightroom 4.x time frame you may have created a saved print (aka Creation) and named it Print.  It would contain a collection of photos and a print template and be listed in your Collections panel and have a special "Print" icon. 

This command is allowing you to open the older version of the Print Creation.

I suppose it's possible that it might be some cruft from LR 4.x. I've been using LR since 1.x and even some of the late betas when I joined Adobe back in 2006. It is also possible that I'm pushing up against some hidden limit of LR with a catalog of nearly 200k photos/videos.

That said, though, I actually have no such thing in my Collections panel - or any collection with that print icon, for that matter. I very rarely print anything other than the occasional quick 4x6, or once exporting a batch of shots to be printed larger (9x13) by Costco. There are four other things that are close but not quite a match:

1) a Collection named "Printed for Tiina"
2) a Collection Set named "Prints"
3) a Collection named "Printed"
4) a Book project named "Book" (clever, huh?) - just because it's the only thing with a special icon and that isn't a Collection, Collection Set, or a Smart Collection

BTW, when I click on that "Open Old Contextual Print" menu option, it opens whatever photo is currently selected in the Print panel as an "Unsaved Print".

"Print" is the default last viewed item if the last viewed item isn't present. I think you can just ignore it.
