Photoshop: "Color Range" in "Sampled Color" is not being recorded properly in Action

My Photoshop version: 20.0.6 20190724.r.80

"Color Range" in "Sampled Color" gets a selection, but this selection is not being recorded in Action. In other words, the Action is capturing blank selection from Color Range.

It seems this problem is older than 3 years now, and nothing has been done to fix this BUG.

Can anyone confirm this to me?
Thanks

Are you talking about Ctrl+B Color range dialog?  In PS CC 2019 it doesn't seem to wanna sample anything, so then it can't record a change... I guess that is still there in 2020 then.

I'm talking about Color Range, under Select menu, not Color Balance.
Color Range.

I misunderstood *and* misnamed Color balance... I tried to *properly* test your case and that does work here in Win 7, PS 2020.

Could you please share more details about your test , just to be sure it is working in your Photoshop?

You can see what it recorded and that's exactly what it played back (Pexel pic).

Yep, this is weird, I've spent a long time trying to figure out what was going on with my Photoshop. I must spend a little more.
Thanks for your time!

Hi Daniel, seems to be working here on macOS 10.14.6 with both Photoshop 20.0.7 and Photoshop 21.0.1.
