Hi there!

Sadly, there is a known Bug working with the "Loupedeck" Controller.

When you copy your black and white development settings from one color image image to the next, the image the look is applied to stays in color.

This renders The Loupedeck useless to me because i mainly work with b&w.

I reported the issue to loupedeck first, here is their response:

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

We are aware of the issues between copy and paste with Black and White. Unfortunately these all have to do with a bug in Lightroom and its profile system. We have notified Adobe about the copy issues in their SDK and hope that they are able to fix them as soon as possible.

Kind regards,
Emil

Note that the other bug report referenced above is describing a different situation than this report, so they shouldn’t be merged.

It actually describes my situation really well. Maybe I didn’t explain myself thoroughly enough before.

Hmm, you describe your issue as: "When you copy your black and white development settings from one color image image to the next, the image the look is applied to stays in color."

But the other bug report describes its issue as: "Apply B/W Preset (e.g.B&W05 profile in Basic Develop mode) simply switch to Library mode (shortcut "E") and back to Develop mode (shortcut "D") - this resets the B/W conversion".

That is, your bug involves copying settings from one photo to another, while the other bug invovles switching from Develop to Library and back to Develop.
