I received an email this morning with this title .... "all-new Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC". I thought to myself, holy shit, how did I miss this .... 1 app that does both PS and LR??? And then I clicked on the 'Get Started' ..... and,  was sadly mistaken. But.....you got me there, the headline worked. Maybe I'm over thinking this but I just didn't expect this from Adobe.

Lightroom (the "traditional" desktop product now known as Lightroom Classic and the "new" cloud-centric version known as Lightroom CC) have always had the "Adobe Photoshop" prefix in front of the official name, as far back as I can remember. So yes, the official name of the latest version of the traditional Lightroom is "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Classic CC", and the new cloud-based product is officially known as "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC". So calling it "all-new" is correct, but the use of "Photoshop" in the title has caused quite a bit of confusion over the years.
