FAQ:

What can I expect from this site?

While we'd like to acknowledge and comment on every idea, question or problem that comes in, it's not something that we have the time or man-power to accomplish. We will read every post and use the information and rankings you provide to help inform the future of our products.

This feedback site in not an official support channel. We welcome you to use this site to post questions in search of answers - and hopefully - more often than not, your questions will be answered by either someone from the user community or someone from one of the product teams.

If you require one-on-one assistance or prefer to contact Adobe Customer Care directly, please visit the support contact page.

Will this feedback site replace the current user to user forums?

There are no plans at this time to replace the current user to user forums except for the forums covering Feature Requests. As of May 17th, 2011, the feature request forums on the user to user forums have been archived and a message has been posted directing users to submit their requests here on this feedback site. The main impetus of this site is to allow users to submit ideas and rank them - something our current forums aren't especially tuned to. If you like what you see here and prefer it to the user to user forums, let us know.

Will this feedback site replace feature request and bug reporting form?

Yes. As of May 17th, 2011, all digital imaging products will use this site as the place to submit feature requests and report problems.

The advantage of using the feedback site over the form is that customers will have better insight on what requests have been made and will have the opportunity to help rate and rank those requests for future consideration.

Okey I read 'first' post in this theard and linked content as well. I have suggestion:

I got for my e-Mail information that my post got removed because of some word (however I censored it). Anyway I accept the moderator decision, but why in that message I had no the link to a post (topic) that was removed from, but only deleted text? For editing example I'm giving example of deleted post (there's disallowed word changed for this post, that could be simply removed, while rest of post kept).

This reply has been removed by Photoshop Family:

Thx for liking my post. Regarding 'deletion' I found somone did that with your post I wanted to like too ;) So at least I bring it back to the light (in censored version):

"A WORD", what does it cost to get the goddamn photos out of the app? A rather ominous oversight or general stupidity on all accounts

Please refrain from posting something simply to agitate or be snarky. That only adds unnecessary noise. Instead, post things that helpful or help towards finding an answer, a reproducible case or a workaround. We want this to be a helpful forum. Thank you.

Jeffrey,

I've reached out to you on numerous issues and have always enjoyed your feedback and willingness to keep Adobe customers up to date on issues. I reported an issue with Bridge not linking with my libraries over a year ago. I have asked for an update from the Bridge team numerous times but it's been crickets from them for some time.

You checked with them some time ago and said they were still working on the ticket. But months later no fix and no feedback. My initial report was over a year ago. I apologize for contacting you in this round-about way but don't have any other way to contact your our the Bridge team.

Here is a trail of some of my more recent Bridge correspondence:

Hi Swati,

Is there anything new with regards to this issue from your side?

My initial report was over three months ago.

Thanks,

JC

    Swati,

Since last asking you about the status of this bug I've updated to Bridge CC version 10.1.0.163. The original problem I reported over 4 months ago still persists.

I also heard a few weeks ago from Jeffrey Tranberry, Sr. Product Manager, Adobe Digital Imaging that there is an internal ticket and it's still being investigated by the Bridge team.

Is there any status you can share with us on this issue?

    Thanks,

    JC

      Swati,

Since last asking you about the status of this bug I've updated Bridge CC to the latest version 10.1.1.166. I reported the Libraries access problem months ago now.

I heard from Jeffrey Tranberry, Sr. Product Manager, Adobe Digital Imaging that there is an internal ticket. It was still being investigated by the Bridge team at the time.

Is there any status you can share with us on this issue? This problem makes starting my day working on my Adobe projects a real pain.

      Thanks,

      JC

Hi Swati, it would be good to know if the Bridge team could share an update on this issue.

The workaround I had by opening Photoshop first, then Bridge to activate the Libraries Panel no longer works.

      Thanks

I'm experiencing the exact same problem as JC as well, both at home and at work, even though those are different PCs and different adobe accounts. It has been like this for the last several versions of bridge. The latest release, 10.1 still has the same bug.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled What is "Get Satisfaction"?.

What is "Get Satisfaction"? and what does it have to do with Photoshop Family Customer Community, I see that it is mentioned/referred to below in an Photoshop Family answer or/and comment from the community.

I am always somewhat suspicious when a website which I have not selected myself asks me to login and verify my e-mail address etc...

Get Satisfaction is just the name of the forum software. It's an official Adobe forum, don't worry.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Feedback To Adobe Management.

Browsing from Google the page https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/new directs to this Community Powered Support pages with the form to post an issue. However, at this point it is not specified whether the post is for the user community or feedback to Adobe, a bug report or a usability issue.

All my posts for Photoshop and Dreamweaver have been meant as feedback to Adobe, not questions for the user community as such. Thanks.

Are there plans to add color and luminance masking to Lightroom CC?  Many videos on YouTube describe this feature in Lightroom Classic, and as a Lightroom CC user I would really like to try it on my landscape photos.  Thanks.

I was expecting a notification that my feedback to Adobe management has been received by Adobe staff. I only received a message that it was merged into this topic. Thanks.

The official answer for this topic answers the question that was merged into this one. Photoshop has been using this platform for feature requests and issue reporting for 10 years or so.

You can see a history of my comments on this issue in a posting to you earlier in this forum to which you never replied. I presume you missed it.

      Thanks,
