Resize liquify brush is broken

I have always resized the brush in Liquify using alt+left mouse + drag left/right.  Since updating to 21.2.0, the resize behavior is like it's having a seizure.

You drag the mouse and it doesn't move or resise the brush, and then suddenly it jumps and starts to respond. Other times, the brush just jumps all over the place like it's possessed.

It worked okay in previous versions. I looked at the fixes and it isn't in the list for 21.2.1.

Ever since 21.1, I have become very reluctant to upgrade, because the developers are obviously going through a phase of breaking more than they fix with each release.

And now the Adobe Creative Cloud app is configured like a jackbooted nazi to refuse to operate unless you allow it to update.

Brilliant move Adobe...just keep chipping away at user's good will towards the company...

Write with a civil tone and perhaps someone will help you. Instead of pointing accusatory fingers, give some details about your system and process, which would help with analysis.

You actually interpreted that as "uncivil"?  Gracious me, you are a delicate little flower aren't you?  Can't you read either? I detailed my process. Anyone with 21.2.0 can test it out on their systems and simply confirm, or state it's not occurring on their system, and I would continue the investigation further.
As for pointing accusatory fingers, Adobe has earned every bit of the response it receives from users...positive and negative.
So just check the recent update history, and then shut your fanboi face.
Now that's what being 'uncivil' is really like.

Here is just part of what you wrote: "And now the Adobe Creative Cloud app is configured like a jackbooted nazi to refuse to operate unless you allow it to update.

If any of my employees ever spoke to or wrote to someone else like that, that person would be out on the street in a flash.

How, in your view, does that attitude (1) provide information that could lead to a solution for you, and (2) add any value to the conversation?

If you were in a restaurant and found yourself unsatisfied with the meal, would that get fixed if you screamed at the wait person in generalized and angry terms?

There are basic features that users (including me) have been requesting for more than a decade. These are not given attention in favor of unrequested and sometimes regressive features or application changes that are corporate choices made because they serve product marketability.

My comment about the Creative Cloud Application was entirely accurate. Users have had the option to upgrade removed, and are forced to install more bloatware if they wish to continue to use the application. Being forced to comply to circumstances that you don't want nor require to maintain good standing within one's subscription, can be easily compared to fascist dictatorship.

It's more than interesting that you are similarly intolerant to simple freedom of expression with your employees. Are you part of the current madness infecting so many that has forsaken the understanding that without dialog there is only dogma?

And how is it that you have now elevated my statements to "screaming"?
Were I screaming, I would use the accepted method to demonstrate this by using ALL CAPS.

Not much more can be served by continuing this ridiculous OT tangent...

Correction:
"....using alt+left mouse + drag left/right"  should be:  ....using alt+right mouse + drag left/right.

I am having the same problem here and it is driving me crazy. Even worse, my version 20 photoshop lost all of it's settings... it's since 21.0. I had discovered it here first and reverted back to v20. now I did test again and it's still broken.
