Please add Device Preview back into Photoshop

I am a UX/UI designer and I do a ton of responsive web and mobile app design.  Device Preview is an invaluable tool for me to be able to design in real time on my phone.

I've tried Skala View as well as (literally) ALL of the alternatives. They do not work properly.  I understand that you're trying to focus on what you believe is important to Photoshop and that a preview has been moved to XD, which you probably prefer me to use, but most of my work requires a lot of photo manipulation and other effects and features not included in XD.  Having to work with BOTH applications is a bad workflow.

As a workaround, I end up using PS2017 so that I can use Device Preview.  But then I'm left out of all the new functions and features included in PS v20+.

Thanks. I realize this is a duplicative thread and I've posted in the thread you linked to but I think that as much saturation on this topic as possible is a good thing.  When users reply to threads they don't appear as new threads on new user's feed that aren't following the afore mentioned thread - so creating a new thread alerts new users or unsubscribed users to the issue.

I'm in the same boat Mike. I don't design websites. I need Device Preview for photo manipulation purposes to see if the illustration I'm creating looks good on the phone or not. I found an app called Design Mirror that works with Windows but nowhere near as good as the old Device Preview. I reverted back to the previous version of Photoshop as soon as they killed the function. I doubt I'll be updating to a newer version anytime soon because of this. I feel like I'm getting ripped off because I can't update Photoshop without losing critical functionality.

It's lame. And, it's a business decision on Adobe's part to push people toward XD (not a UX/UI decision).  But XD just doesn't offer every tool that a designer needs to do everything they need to do.  They are leaving all sorts of types of designers in the dust with the removal of Device Preview.

I run Mac OS so Design Mirror isn't an option.  Skala Viewer doesn't display resolution reliably and is buggy from top to bottom.  I've tried every single app in the App Store that performs the same function as Design Preview and they either just don't work at all, or have some other flaw that makes using them inefficient or pointless.

I have both Photoshop 2017 and 2018 installed on my machine.  You can choose not to delete old version if you want to install the newest iteration, and you can use the drop down menu next to Photoshop to instal old versions if you want (Manage >> Other Versions).

Thanks! I had no idea I could run two versions at the same time.
