Photoshop/Lightroom: I have just signed up for the CC Photography Plan but I can't find Photoshop. Can anyone help with this?

Where is Photoshop?

Hi Benton, I see you have a Creative Cloud Photography Plan. You should have access to both Photoshop and Lightroom. You should be able to download Photoshop from the Creative Cloud desktop app:

https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/using/download-creative-cloud-apps.html

Or from the web here:

I am not a representative of Adobe, I'm just another customer, but I have often wondered why they call it "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC" (if that is what you bought) because that is not Photoshop and does not include Photoshop and has almost nothing to do with Photoshop except that it can exchange images with it. It's just Lightroom.

Plus, there are now two very different Lightrooms. The original one has been renamed Lightroom Classic and the once-famous brand name "Lightroom" has been given to the new version that keeps all your images on an Adobe cloud server. When website reviews say they have been using Lightroom for years, they mean Lightroom Classic.

My personal favorite best-for-your-dollar combination today is Adobe's Photography Plan, a monthly or yearly subscription giving you the real Photoshop and the real Lightroom (ie, "Classic").

Or maybe you bought Photoshop too, I don't know, but this sums up the general situation. Perhaps you could post some details about what you bought so an Adobe rep can help you.

All apps which are available to you can be downloaded via the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application. If you purchased the Photography Plan then Photoshop will be available to download as well. Lightroom and Photoshop are two separate applications.

Hope this helps.

The question is what you have ‘bought’. The Lightroom Classic plus Photoshop photographers package is not available as a one time purchase, only as subscription. If you did get this package, then you can install Photoshop from the CC app, just as you must have done with Lightroom if you already installed that.

If you did make a one time purchase of Lightroom however, then you probably bought Lightroom 6, the last perpetual license version, not Lightroom Classic. Lightroom 6 does not include Photoshop.
