Photoshop: When will I be able to export HEIC format?

We've done some testing in-house and had some great results. Facebook seems to interpolate the RGB and a greyscale depth channel to pretty good effect. it's still a little rough but an exciting development.

I hope Facebook rolls this out to all users sooner than later.

Adobe previewed "Moving Still" at Adobe MAX this year, but I'm not sure how soon we're going to see it and how much we're going to be able to edit the results.

But... Simon you're getting at being able to add a depth matte to PS artwork created from scratch and then saving that as HEIC, aren't you?  Something similar to how we can currently create anaglyph 3D by offsetting the red and blue channels (of course, that's easy because it's not tied to an image file format).

That would be awesome.

That would be very cool, but I am also interested in adding elements to depth photos.
