Photoshop version 22.3 keeps crashing for weeks now!

Twice in the last month I've tried to install and work in PS version 22.3 and it works for a bit and then starts slowing down my computer and then crashes.  I've had to uninstall and reinstall an earlier version as a go-around, but then that version also gets wonky after time.
