Photoshop: Update all filters to work with 16 bit images

It would be nice if all of the filters would work with 16 bit images

I would love to be able to use all filters in 16 bit mode and it would also be nice to view blend modes by just hovering the cursor over it. I know I can view the blend modes with a keyboard trick, but just hovering the cursor over them makes more sense to me anyway.

Which product are you using?
Which version?
Which OS version?

Do you have an image open?
Is the image in RGB mode?
Is the image in 8 bit/channel mode?
Is the Filter Gallery menu choice grayed out?

great guys, after latest update of cc15 the liquify filter now works in 16 bit mode, but the filter gallery is not available in 16 bit now......

In the latest update, 19.1.0 20180116.r.238, the filter gallery is greyed out. Anyone else?
