Photoshop: unresponsive, mouse stuck in dragging state

My Magic Mouse somehow jammed and Photoshop seemed locked in a 'dragging window' state. Was unable to get in contact with it. No windows would show, all menus grayed.

That's because the OS never told Photoshop that you let up on the mouse button -- so Photoshop thinks that you're still dragging the window with the mouse button down. You might un jam it by plugging in a more reliable mouse and clicking (thus sending a mouse down and a mouse up event).

Not much Photoshop can do about that - the application relies on getting correct events from the OS.

I suppose that's fair enough. And wow, thanks for the fast reply! I eventually regained control by turning off the mouse, then on again.

good the procedure will consider some period so you include to hold out. Kodi for PC climbing, dark pubs popping, zoom, post-processing, browsing function, pixel ratio, etc. nice.
