Photoshop: Transform UI won't go away

Yes...would someone please kill the programmer at Adobe who has cost me an extra 3 million clicks, trying to deselect the darn Command T- sizing option in the new terribly stupid PS- CC? !!!!!!!!   Or maybe FIX the damn thing! I miss CS6, back when it worked

John, is this a case of the girlfriend screaming at the boyfriend in public over texts with "that girl" who turns out to be his mom...?

Reel it in a bit...

Do you have "Show Transform Controls" enabled on the Move tool options bar?

yes or I wouldn't see that it's chosen. Once you choose #T you're stuck. You either resize the image or choose the marquee tool to deselect.

Really not understanding what the problem is. Can you provide more helpful and specific information? How did it work before and what is actually different now?

Is the problem that you can't get the transformation to apply and switch back to normal tool use once you have hit cmd-T? If so, have yo tried pressing "Enter" more than once or clicking the accept icon in the tool tray at the top?

Howdy John,

Are you aware that you cancel out of just about every command simply by pressing the ESCape button?  That also works here, with the Transform state of Photoshop.

Does that not work?  Is there some other issue that you're encountering?  Could you please share the details of that situation, so that we could address it?

Thanks,
David
