Photoshop: The eyedropper-tool isn't working because of an program error

Not as a tool on itself and neither as a part of an effect (like choosing the grey area for lighting). It says that there is a program error. Any idea what could be wrong, and what should I do? I ́m using CC.

According to you account, it looks like you own a copy of CS4 for Windows. Have you tried restoring your prefs? http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...
