Photoshop: Spotify causes glitches while running

Question

I'm running Photoshop CS6 on a 2009 iMac version 10.7.5I installed Spotify a few months ago so I could listen to music while designing.  I started noticing that Photoshop would not work correctly when Spotify was running.  For example, I could not use the transform tool, and sometimes Photoshop would give errors when trying to save files. If Spotify was not running then Photoshop worked fine.I have uninstalled Spotify. No big deal.  I just wanted to send a message to Adobe so they would be aware.

Please let Spotify know about this so they can get the details they need to reproduce the problem and troubleshoot their app (I know their engineering manager is very interested in solving these sorts of issues).

Was this ever addressed on either side? I'm working with PS 2015.5 and it's still doing the same thing. It's super clear that when spotify is not playing anything, although still open, Photoshop runs smoothly.

I did not receive any help from Spotify. I sent them a message, but I guess it wasn't important to them. I have not used Spotify since, so I have no idea if it was fixed. When I was experiencing the problem (2 years ago) it occurred while when Spotify was running, playing music or not.

Photoshop has become unbelievably fragile, the prima donna of software. The littlest things get it all upset, for example, having ANYTHING else installed on your computer. Geez, it's starting to remind me of those spoiled brat kids who quit playing and go home if they aren't able to win.

Maybe Adobe expects everyone to have a machine with only the OS, Photoshop, and nothing else. Oh wait, but then there's all the hardware that Photoshop doesn't like to play with either... It has such an uncanny knack for finding endless bugs in eveyone else's software.

Definitely still buggy. I am on a brand new PC, freshly built, and Spotify freaks out when I invert images in Photoshop.
