Photoshop: Spot healing brush tool

I have imac 27 2011 16gb ram, a common problem with which I stumbled is to freeze photoshop after the first action with the help of a spot healing brush tool. pauses photoshop for 5 seconds, then runs 6 actions normally, then hangs again and so on constantly, it starts after I edited one photo, then I start editing the second photo, it works well on the first photo, then the next one starts to have problems. and so constantly.
