Photoshop: Show a list of the last used settings for the Gradient tool

I wish the Gradient tool could show last used gradients. Or show gradients used on the document you are currently working on. I like to use the gradient tool to "color" in Photoshop. https://tibbi64.myportfolio.com/the-lost-ocean

If they made it like Brushes and Swatches where you get 10 "last-used" to reselect from, that would be very helpful, I agree. And while they're at it, I'd like the Swatches panel to show gradient swatches, too. Much easier to select them than having to dive into a menu and dialog.
