Photoshop: Problems with using space bar for the Move tool when using the Lasso tool
Two problems here after the most recent update to CC 2020:
1 - For years I've been using an action that flattens an image and saves it to my desktop as a jpeg. Lately, the action has stopped working as I get a "file name was not valid" error message. There's no weird characters in the file name by the way. Strange thing is - if I do it manually (via File - Save As), it saves just fine. And it only gives the error if I've worked on the image and saved changes before attempting this. If I open a fresh image and run the action, it saves via the action just fine. I've also tried recreating the action from scratch but the problem persists. The very same action still works perfectly in previous versions of Photoshop.
2 - When zoomed in on an image and making a selection with the lasso tool, I used to be able to hold the space bar whilst selecting which would temporarily change to the hand tool in order for me to move the image around. Once the key was released, it would revert back to the lasso tool and retain what I had selected, allowing me to continue selecting. Now, if I press the space bar during a selection, it doesn't switch to the hand tool at all. The lasso tool remains and I cannot shift the image around.

I'm running Windows 10, version 1909, OS build 18363.720
Yes, I'm using a Wacom but the issue occurs even if I use a mouse. Basically whichever tool I'm using doesn't revert to the hand tool temporarily when I press space bar whilst I'm using that tool, either via mouse or pen.

I just updated to the latest windows version (21.1.1) and while using the lasso tool and magnetic lasso tool, temporary activation of the hand tool (shortcut:spacebar) doesn't work as usual, while in the polygonal lasso tool is working as usual.
