Photoshop: Polygonal lasso + wacom tablet broken in MacOS 10.10 Yosemite

I updated to Yosemite a couple days ago and haven't been able to complete any work since. This is bad, I have bills to pay and clients to maintain... the only tool I use for my work is polygonal lasso and it does not work at all since updating.

I'm using a Wacom bamboo tablet - the lasso works fine with mouse and trackpad. Every other click is invisible - a selection is still created but I can't see where it is before I finish it.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers for my tablet, same problem. I can't even find a way to go back to mountain lion...

Help ASAP!

If you are running CC or CS6 install the plug-in that is on this page
http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/p...

per a post in this thread (https://forums.adobe.com/message/6157809)
it fixes lasso problem, lag and white menus all in one. Ive used it for a month and photoshop runs just as good as it did in Mountain Lion

Thank you! I trawled through so many forums with no solution. Works perfectly.

Which application are you using?
Which version?

And you may want to contact Wacom about this -- they could have an updated driver, or they may need additional information to fix the driver bug.

Hi
Is there a way to do this for PC's? I have the same problem - magnetic/polygonal lasso don't work when using my Wacom tablet...?
Thanks in advance!

What version of Photoshop? What version of Windows? Is your wacom driver up to date?

I'm using a wireless Wacom Bamboo (CTH-300)

OK. I don't have a wireless Bamboo. I'll see if a colleague has one.
