Photoshop: Please make Photoshop 64-bit/Cocoa to allow the use of more than 4GB of RAM

Dear Adobe Gripes #2571, #4328, #4944, #4789, #3440

"Please, make CS-whatever- 64 bit capable (not only 'compatible')"

"Cocoa. Not damn Carbon. Dont be scared of actually doing some serious work."

"Most Apple users would actually like to USE more than 4bg of RAM"

"Please port Adobe Photoshop to 64-bit Cocoa on Mac OS X. It is time to use a modern framework on a modern processor architecture. Carbon is going away and doesn't support 32-bit!"

As of Photoshop CS5, Photoshop is now 64bit/Cocoa. Sorry it took so long. It was a lot of work to move this direction and retain the majority of the functionality of application.

Some background on the process here:

Dear Adobe Gripes #2234, #5284, #3513, #1867 & #2511

"Carbon is a joke, it's 2008, go Cocoa dammit."

"Lightroom being 64-bit on OS X, but not Photoshop, is retarded. Rewrite PS in Lua if that's what it takes."

"Please delete the old code and build 100% cocoa apps for osx!"

"Why after 8 years, Photoshop is still not in Cocoa on Mac?"

"Make CS4 into a Cocoa App."
