Photoshop: Not recognizing Fonts already activated - claims they are missing (RightFont)
This seems to be a huge very annoying problem that I've encountered in every Adobe product that I've used so far after almost every major update (Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects for sure at least).
I use RightFont to manage my fonts between two computers (though this sometimes happens on the same computer). I always keep fonts I used activated at all times. Some of these are through Adobe Typekit and some are Google fonts through RightFont as I mainly design for web.
Just yesterday I opened a PSD on computer A that I had created on computer B using the Google font Nunito. Computer A had the exact same Google font activated in the same exact program of RightFont as the other computer, yet it didn't recognize it in the PSD, kept saying it was missing and tried to replace it with Myriad Pro. When I clicked into the text box with the Myriad Pro, I would change it back to Nunito but it would look really strange - not how its supposed to. Odd weight, spacing, etc....
I've also experienced a problem with After Effects and Indesign on the exact same computer I had created the original document on. Opened it after an Adobe update and suddenly they don't recognize the font in the document despite the fact that its activated on the computer and never changed since the update. It shows up in the font list when I look for it, but somehow doesn't find it on its own when you open the document or PSD.
So freaking annoying... have to replace every bit of text every time.
