Solved

Photoshop: My properties panel in select and mask doesn't have view mode, masking options, edge detection, global refinements or output settings

When I go into select /select and mask, my properties panel doesn't have view mode or all of the other adjustments it should have it just says width height x y.

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

If you click on the icon left of the properties panel of Select and Mask, a second properties panel appears with only those coordinates. Perhaps you are looking at that one and the original one is hidden somehow, or maybe it's covered by this new panel. See below.

There was something wrong with my properties panel. Everytime I went into select and mask there were no options. If I made a mask first and then went into select and mask the panel would have optinos but would make a noise every time I tried to adjust a setting and the sliders wouldn't move. I didn't have that icon you showed either. But just before I was about to reply back to you I found this little icon above and it reset the panel.  Now I think it works... Fingers crossed. Thanks for the quick reply and help.
