Photoshop: My brushes are blotchy and are randomly turning lighter and darker

Question

I'm really frustrated with this. I was trying out new brushes, and now this is happening with all the programs I'm using! (Example:Image 2018-07-29 at 5.38.00 PM.png)
I already checked the spacing settings and everything else. It made no difference, and this is occuring to most brushes that I use! ;-; plz send help

What are the Color Dynamics and Transfer settings? Did you lock any of the settings in  the Brush Settings Panel? Please post screenshots including the Brush Settings Panel.

Try resetting the tool: Reset Tool Settings

are you using a pen tablet? looks to me like the pen might be broken...

Actually I just fixed it yesterday LOL! It turns out that I downloaded the wrong driver. I’m using a Huion 1060 plus (8192), but i downloaded the regular driver instead of the one with 8192
