Photoshop: Multiple Versions no Longer Available in CC?

There are significant bugs with the latest Photoshop, so I try to test the new versions before installing them.

You used to be able to have multiple versions of the apps installed at once, is this no longer the case?

Otherwise I have to roll back every time a new version is buggy.

I have 2 versions of Photoshop installed on my PC. CC2019 and CC2020.

I choose not to uninstall the previous version when installing a new version.

This may help you:

Thank you! Those settings are indeed there though when I go to install a previous version it insists on removing the latest version...

Rosa's link seems not to resolve the issue: all other versions are still uninstalled even if 'Remove Older Versions' is unchecked.

The above suggestion failed to resolve the issue: Even with those instructions followed installing one version eliminates the other. See image for settings and message.

I don't know if this helps, but these are my setting in Prefs and I have no problem with running multiple versions...

It still updates and then removes my previous versions.

I definitely do not auto update my individual Apps apart from my CC itself.
That way I have control when I update my Apps to make sure that I keep my previous version.
That's my personal preference and I've had no dramas keeping older versions.

The problem is, if you turn off Auto Update you dont get the option to keep older versions!

Yes you do. That's how I manage keeping my older versions. This works for me.

I manually update my Apps but I do have the Creative Cloud itself auto update.

When I try to install an older version it removes any others, with this warning:
