Photoshop: If I 'TRY' a Photoshop product, is it for free??

If I understand your question, yes the trial of Photoshop is free for 30 days. Then after 30 days you are required to purchase and enter a serial number to continue using the product.

If you do not purchase the serial number after 30 days the product simply will not launch fully until you activate it with a serial number.
