Photoshop: Eraser Tool - No option to change brush

I have photoshop CC v20.0.9

I only have one brush for my Eraser Tool, don't see any way to change the brush type.

I'm getting a sponge effect on my eraser, and takes forever to erase things because it isn't consistent. Can't find any option to choose a different brush type. HELP!

Where is the option for preset brushes for Eraser Tool???

Hi, in your image I see that you're using either the Magic Eraser (left screenshot) or the "Background Eraser" (right screenshot).
To get to the regular eraser you have to click on "Eraser Tool".

kind regards, Birgit

@Birgit Hertel thanks for replying! I am not looking for any eraser, ALL my eraser brushes are screwed up. I was using the background eraser, and when I use that, I have another layer with red background so I can see what progress I'm making as I remove the background of the first original layer. When I do this, I realize my brush acts more like a sponge, and I can't seem to get the brush to be solid. I don't see any choices for brushes. If you know how to do this, please post a screenshot, it saves a lot of text time to try to explain it.

Thanks again!
