Photoshop: Display the Layer Mode on the Layer name
It would be very helpful if Photoshop would tag each layer with its layer mode so that you could tell what each layer's mode was without having to click through each individual layer.
I use Photoshop for digital illustration. When I do my work, I create hundreds of layers, all of different types depending on what I need at the moment. The problem comes when I find a mistake or something that I must adjust on a previous layer. When I do I have to go back and dig through each individual layer to see which one is the problem. So instead of "Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3," they might be labelled, "multiply-Layer 1, Color Dodge-Layer 2," "Normal-Layer 3."
This feature would save anyone who ever has to dig back through layers a great deal of time.

See here :
You would never guess this was Pin light or that there was any blend added and might end up digging far in the file to reproduce or alter the correction.
