How can I downgrade to previews version since the update has a bug with the Shadows/Highlight tool which makes the App unusable for me.

Hi Sosthene,

Sorry for the bug with Shadows/Highlights -- Can you provide any steps to reproduce this issue?

Can you get it to happen with a new file?

To downgrade, or install a previous version using hte Creative Cloud Desktop app, click the Ellipses next to the PS 21.1 card, and choose Other versions. Then Select a version to install.

Hi Pete, yes, thats what I did... Im now back on the previous version and all works fine again.. actually.. by installing the older version the app speeded up significantly, which is a pleasant side effect.
The bug was happening with all kinds of files, exactly like in the video posted here.  I would open a file, from Lightroom or from my desktop, use any of the selecting tools, and then  use the shadow/highlights tool and it would freeze.. Force Quitting was the only option.

I'm having the same issue. I open a file, try to edit a layer within the file and the program crashes. Tried a different file and the program crashed 10 seconds after opening. I've repeated the issue consistently and with different files. The program was running perfect fine yesterday, which was prior to the new update on mac os 10.15.3

I am having the same problem with the select and mask screen and the Wacom pen zoom whilst brushing. I have downgraded to the previous version and my problem is gone.

Dymanic Zoom with CTRL- Spacebar has a noticeable 1-2 seconds lag or delay at the start of the zoom when you have the WinTab option enabled. Do you have an idea what causes it? It's pretty uncomfortable

I'm only seeing 21.0.3 in Creative Cloud as an update.
I haven't been able to use any of the previous 21.0.x because of the severe performance degredation and was willing to install and instance of 21.1 to try again... but it is not a visible option.
Has this release been put on hold?

EDIT: Wait, I found it under 21.0.3 > Other versions

Okay PC users (and Adobe), I've tried out the 21.1 install on Windows 10 Pro, 64-bit. It seems to be a viable product once more. After having significant performance issues on 20.0.x versions and abandoning it completely - this does, at least initially, seem to have solved the redraw issues I was having when undertaking simple tasks like panning (scrolling) around a large canvas, scaling and moving basic objects. My GPU no longer rockets to 100% utilisation when doing these basic tasks.
Thanks for fixing... whatever it was that you fixed.

I came across this problem after updates to Photoshop 21.0.3 and  21.1.

In Preferences, Interface, Presentation, UI Font Size had been reset to default. 

I noticed this straight away after the last two updates, because when opening Photoshop after updating, the Font Size was Tiny and it hit my eyes straight away.

Once I've reset the Font Size to my liking, there's no problem with the font size again when opening Photoshop. 

As mentioned, this only ever happened after the last two updates. The first time, well I thought it was a glitch but having it happen a second time, makes me wonder. I did mention it in passing after the last update here:

Curious really, as the update only affected the UI Font Size and no other preferences.

I have the latest Windows OS and latest drivers.

I've rolled back to v21 had to contact Adobe for the offline installer mac, as this is not available through creative cloud app. Hopefully, Adobe will sort out the bugs with v21.1
