Photoshop: CS6 Beta problem saving to network drive

I think i found the root of it... I am using a 24" Imac Mac system... Network is a company run lynix based system. I found that by turning autosave off, for some reason it allows me to save properly to the network fine, but with autosave on, it gives me an error that says "file name invalid" even though it can save that same file name to my desktop and CS5 can reopen that image (from the desktop) and save as onto the server just fine without any changes. Something about autosave isn't working
