Several users have reported a resolution after an uninstall, and reinstall of Photoshop CS6, then applying the update either through the updater (easiest), or manually. After the uninstall/reinstall the update installed perfectly.

Give this a try please.
Let us know how it goes!

Thanks
Pete

If you're getting that error during install, try the 13.0.1 update manually:

It can be downloaded here:

Mac:

Peter,

Have you had any prerelease and/or beta versions of Photoshop installed on your system previously?

no, I installed Photoshop from Creative Cloud. I am getting similar errors with the latest Adobe Illustrator Update.

I downloaded the Updates manually, but also get the errors.

I now uninstalled PS and re-installed from the Creative Cloud Adobe Application Manager. The process reinstalled 13.0 x64. But now the upgrade to 13.0.1 worked just fine!!!

I have PS 13.0.1 (mac)and I am getting the same update error when I try to update to 13.0.2. If I uninstall PS CS6, what will have to all my actions/plugins/extensions and filters. Do I have to reinstall all these as well?

I got the error just now when trying to install the 13.0.3 update. Manually installing it didn't work.

I got several add-ons , plugins, extensions and filters that would need to be manually re-installed. It is a painful process. If I uninstall PS cs6, I am afraid all these would be removed as well. Is there a workaroung?

uninstalling and reinstalling the app won't touch your preferences (unless you chose to remove them), third party plugins, presets, or Flash panels.

OK...I'll give it a shot...It is on a Mac, Do i just drag cs6 folder, or I drag the app icon only?

Use the uninstaller, don't just trash it.

You can find the uninstaller in the application folder: "Uninstall Adobe Photoshop CS6"

Did you get any errors Shubhang?
Lots of the errors can be resolved by uninstall/reinstall of Photoshop then the updates -- http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite...
