Photoshop: Crash and insufficient RAM

Question

I have been running Photoshop CC 2018 on my Surface Pro for the past two months with no issues. I am now unable to save images or execute color corrections without PS crashing or a message indicating not enough RAM. My system does only have 4GB of RAM but as stated this has been running just fine from day 1. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issue. Any help would be appreciated.

have you done all the Edit > Purge stuff? Have you added any fonts to your machine recently- whether through TypeKit or just manually? Are you running other software programs now that you were not in the past? Have there been system software (OS) updates in the last week? Maybe there are new services or apps being run at startup that are hogging resources? Run Task Manager and see what is going on before opening Photoshop and maybe there are new things?

As it indicates, add RAM. Video cards alone require 4 gig of RAM for Photoshop CC 2018.

I didn't purge as I was unsure as to the implication. But from what I have read I believe I will. No new fonts or other software and I did go into PS and (deactivate fonts) if that's the correct term. I will take a look this evening at your other comments and get back with you.
