Photoshop: Channel Mask Color is reverting back to default after I change it
Macbook Pro user.
After I updated to Photoshop 22.0.1 my quick mask color preferences reverted to default, gray. And after I change the preferences, they keep reverting to default upon every new image I open.
It even happens with images I just closed with my changed settings. This is affecting quick masks and regular channel masks.
In the Channels panel options, I normally set my mask colors to red or sometimes blue, and a bit higher opacity to view my masks easier.
So how do I make sure that my options "stick" now? This is a new problem I've been working like this since I updated but it is getting frustrating that I have to change the channel mask settings every time I open a new image.
I'm a retoucher, I use a lot of masks.

Hmm. I'm not able to reproduce this. I can close documents, open new documents, and the quick mask prefs stick.

Yes, it's strange. I'm not sure what happened. As soon as the update, every time I close the image and open it again the channel mask is back to default.
It had been working prior to the update.
I'm still running Catalina 10.15.7 and I will update to the new OS soon and see if it helps.
