Photoshop CC: Program error on start in MacOS 10.7.5
I've bought Photoshop CC from the Adobe website today and installed it on an os x 10.7.5 with 4GB RAM, 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo machine. However the application doesn't start. I have the welcome screen, but somewhere in the middle of the startup process it failes with the message: Couldn't initialise photoshop because of a program error (I've received the message in dutch).
What could be wrong?
Thanks.

Which specific version of Photoshop CC are you using?
Have you tried resetting preferences?

I'm unaware of the version of Photoshop I'm using because I can't start it up. It must be the latest version because the creative cloud manager reports that it is up-to-date. I've only bought it yesterday so it's the first time I'm launching it on my iMac. I've deleted the preferences folder, but this didn't solve the problem.
Kind regards,
Marc.

The folder you mention (/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Color/Settings) contains no files.

Anyhow, I did the second method from the video of Julieanne Kost and did reset the preferences, but to no avail.
Remember this is a fresh install of Photoshp CC after I bought it yesterday from the Adobe Creative Cloud.
Thanks.

Booting into Safemode would be another good test in case there's extension conflict: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

I now hope I don't have to reinstall my OS X.
What now?
