Photoshop CC: Image Size upscale issues
Running CC 2014 on a mid 2010 15-in MacBook Pro with 2.4 GHz i5 processor and 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 ram:
When attempting to upscale (image size) a large image (+25" @300 dpi), PS CC 2014 will start the process and hang up/freeze between a quarter and half way through the process. Downscales work correctly, as do smaller image upscale. Images also upscale correctly and quickly in CS3.

Upscaling uses "Preserve Details" which leverages the graphics card for acceleration. If there's a problem, it's likely a driver issue.
