Photoshop CC 2019: Pixel Glitch - Text cutoff

I'm having an issue where if I move things in my photoshop file they seem to get cut off by an imaginary line. It's almost as if the copy were in a clipping mask and it's cutting it off but it's not in a clipping mask. It's happening in multiple areas of my file, and it is not just a previewing issue it saves the file that way as well. It seems to be fine if I move it two pixels and back one which is a quick fix but when you have to fix it multiple times just to export a file it is not super convenient. Any help?

Thanks for reporting this issue. It should be fixed in the latest 20.0.2 release that went out early this morning. Please let us know if you're still experiencing problems.

I have the same glitch on all versions of photoshop beginning from  2017. It appears when you have lots of layers and nested groups.

Nita, is this a problem with a specific Photoshop document?

It is multiple Photoshop documents.

there are some anomalies on Windows with the updated compositor.  Try Prefs ==> Performance ==> Options / Legacy Compositing ==> checked on.

This is also happening to me with the newer CC 2019 version, for example after applying a Hue/Saturation adjustment. Never happened before. I'll try reverting to the legacy compositing for now.

Hi Nita,
We so sorry for your frustrating experience.  We'll have the engineering team look into this.  In the meantime to help us identify the issue specifically, can you please share with us the PSD file with this issue (you can email it to me, sender@adobe.com), your Help -> System Info, and let us know if "Legacy Compositing" helped resolve your issue.  Thanks Nita!

Sincerely,
Andrew

Hi Nita, try updating to 20.0.1. If you're still having trouble, we'd like to get a copy of your file to do some troubleshooting! Thanks!

I have the same problem in 20.0.1 in different and also new files. It’s a rather clean and new install of High Sierra and Adobe CC on a Mac Pro 2013.

Same problem here, happens with some layers. Save + close than re-open file solves the problem for exporting to gif...
MacBook Pro 15' 2017 High Sierra and Adobe Photoshop CC 20.0.1
Trying to revert to the legacy compositing and see if it works.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Photoshop CC 2019: Text appear clipped on screen.

I updated to the latest version today and I'm getting a bug where some layers appear truncated/cropped on screen. At 'actual' size they're fine, but any reduction and they appear cut as per the below images, one which should be a feathered edged drop shadow, the other shows text cut off. If I save off a jpeg, it's fine, so it's just the view on screen.
It's impossible to design this way!
Anyone else seeing this issue?

I can't use v20.01. It's unusable for me. So many bugs. I gone back to the previous Photoshop version.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Photoshop CC 2019: Type is cut off when exporting layer comps.

When exporting to layer comps, the top of certain pieces of text on-screen are cut off. It doesn't happen with every piece of text, just some of them. See this image for reference, in particular "brain" at the left and "Main Menu" at the right: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19uKQ9s2l86_zzUaiMJ8jLS87RIuvgRLE/view?usp=sharing

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Photoshop CC 2019 20.0.01: Elements or type look cropped or distorted.

There is a bug in Photoshop 2019 20.0.01. When working on a design, all of a sudden a shape will seem like there is a bit missing, or if you've drawn a 5px line it will look 1px thick. If you click on the element and nudge it it pops back to it's original form. Then you have to nudge it back in place.

Similarly with text, it will all of a sudden look distorted and pixelated, to correct the issue I have to follow the same steps as above.

Using a top of the range MAC.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Text layers and smart objects randomly display with a portion cut off. Only corre....

I’ve been having this issue since I updated to Photoshop CC 2019, but nearly every time I create a new text layer (and occasionally smart objects), once I commit the text it cuts a portion of it off. Seems to be a rendering issue or something. The only way to correct it is to nudge the text layer up or down. And it actually exports like this if I don’t correct it. Here’s a quick gif showing what I mean:

This happens on both my 2012 iMac and my 2018 Macbook Pro, so it doesn't seem to be a hardware problem. Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas on how to fix?
