Photoshop CC 2019: Marquee tool precision adjusted?
Hi all,
I create recreate digital floorplans at work and took a stab at upgrading to CC 2019 and I noticed that for some reason when working at a pixel level (using a 5x5 subdivision grid) there seemed to be a minor difference in my ability to select pixels using the marquee tool on the grid between 2018 and 2019.
In the image below I've marked the corner where I would usually highlight from to select a 5x5 pixel square in 2018 on the left and the result when using the same area on 2019 on the right.
Has anyone else noticed a change in the precision of the rectangular marquee tool? Was there a rework of the precision in 2019 or is it a matter of adjusting muscle memory to highlight a little more inside rather than on the corner?
Cheers,
Minh
