Photoshop CC 2018: Removed brushes and brush presets

Some of the Brushes and Preset brushes have been removed between PS CC 2017 and 2018... I got help from one of your tech supports and it was concluded that there was no way to get the old brushes back into 2018. I used one in particular on a project in 2017 that i can no longer work on with the updated one. "scattered maple leaves" and other abstract brushes have been completely removed.. seems very silly to erase them from future versions. Please bring them back so i dont have to use PS CC 2017 more than i use 2018...

Double check what you are using.. i am almost certain you are on the 2017 version. None of those are in 2018

Those are now "legacy brushes" and they're in the window of brush types that opens when you click on the brush icon to the right of the brush size

Some friendly advice. Make a copy of the presets folder. That way if future updates removes a favorite brush, action, style, etc,"   you can copy it into the new version.

What has happened to the Legacy Brushes (& Converted Legacy Tool Presets) selections in that pulldown since earlier this year? It seems to have been removed. (Just did a fresh install of CC 18 when purchasing a new MacBook Pro)
