Photoshop CC 2018: CTRL+ALT+Z not working properly

Back then in CC 2017 ,sometimes i use my keyboard to do quick fixes in my stuff.. Ofcourse, when i mistake something i smash CTRL+ALT+Z and it'd instantly do so.

HOWEVER, in CC 2018, doing the same smash it won't work inmediatly..Sadly, the temporal fix is to press and hold (then latterly press) CTRL ALT Z in that order so that every Z tap in the end would work

Curiously, using my Wacom Intuos Pro 2017 table's button with the same keyboard function doesn't have the error, making every poke to the button to undo

Will there be a fix for the keyboard method....? and NO, i don't wanna change the key shortcuts..I am used to this method..

Seems like all shortcuts which use Alt key is now broken. According to this thread Adobe is investigating the problem.

The workaround for now is that you first press CTRL key, then ALT, then Z.

Well, it's nice to know, somehow, that i'm not alone with this issue.. Hope they do a TINY patch to fix it ASAP...I'm a simple cartoon-like artist...So  you can imagine how this can be a pain...When not using tablet ^^;

Thanks.

This was an unfortunately and unforeseen consequence of another fix.  We're aware of the issue and working on a fix.

In the meanwhile, as a workaround until we can roll out the fix, you can EITHER customize the shortcut by removing the ALT key (the keyboard shortcut dialog is accessible via Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts or CNTRL+SHIFT+ALT+K) OR as Igor suggested, you can just make sure that ALT is the pressed after CNTRL.

Thanks,
David

Take your work a bit more serious... this is unacceptable in 2017 for an industryleading software.

Last time I install Adobe updates until it's actually been tested (and not on us). I've resorted to using CS5.5. Perhaps Adobe should refund a month's subscription?

Using the RIGHT ALT-key instead of the LEFT one seems to work.

My Wacom intous pro isn't working with the Photoshop 2018 update at all now.  (I have had to reinstall the earlier version of Photoshop cc).

New Photoshop come with lots of bugs.

Smart girds are not show when hold ctrl key.
ctrl & alt+ backspace - foreground color and background color change shortcut keys are also not working

Seems that any shortcut or key command that uses ALT is not working correctly in PS 2018.  Seems to work maybe 1/3 of the time.  This is really bad.  How did this get past the beta?

It looks like the problem is when you hit ALT before the other modifier keys. When possible I hit ALT as the last modifier key and then it works. But still pretty annoying and need a fix very soon.

So, any ETA on this fix? Do you know how many shortcuts incorporate the Alt key? How basic are KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS? They've been a part of Photoshop for over TWENTY YEARS. How did this get past alpha or beta testing? Do you even DO QA testing anymore?

I can't stamp visible, which is a key part of my workflow, because it's not even in the menus. You also don't give me the option to go back to CC 2017 in the Creative Cloud app. I HAVE WORK I NEED TO GET DONE.

I'm tempted to cancel my subscription and go pirate PS CC 2017. I would like to pay monthly for PS for the rest of my life (and I'm only 30 years old), even if you raise the price occasionally, but not if you're going to break core functionality with updates you don't even allow me to roll back. At that point you're not even delivering a usable product, so I wouldn't feel bad stealing an older WORKING version that you give me no other way to purchase.

I have the same problem: every CTRL+ALT combination does not work in some situations.
