Photoshop CC 2018: Cannot print to HP Samsung printer

When trying to print from Photoshop CC 2018 to a printer (HP Samsung Xpress SL-C480W A4 MFP) nothing happens. The printer dialog is there, you can access normal settings etc, but when you press the "print" button nothing at all happens, no errors, no queues, just nothing. All other applications print fine, including Acrobat Pro and InDesign.

It may be a HP (who now sells Samsung printers) problem, but then I find it peculiar that it only happens to Photoshop. Has anyone got any clues to what the cause is, and ideally, a solution?

What OS/version are you running Photoshop on? If you hold down the spacebar when you select File > Print... does it work?z

Amazing – the space bar thing made it work!

I googled and found that it resets the printer settings, very convenient, and a well kept secrets – I even used to work for Adobe Sweden and still had no idea that this shortcut was in Photoshop!

Thanks man! :-)

(and for the record, although it may not matter, my OS version is Sierra 10.12.6 (16G1212) )

I cannot print to me DNP DS80. Says paper not compatible.  I use only 8x10 paper and it printed fine on El Capitan.  Now I have version 10.13.4
