Photoshop CC 2015.5.1: Not printing in macOS 10.12 Sierra
Installed OS-X Sierra and now Photoshop 15.5.1 crashes when attempting to print. Print dialogue opens and settings can be modified, but when attempting to print PS crashes perhaps 9 out of 10 attempts. Most frustrating. I'm printing to an Epson 7890, but I have seen the same issue cited for Canon. Adobe support told me that Photoshop has not been tested on Sierra, but in reality Adobe has had Sierra for months and have even published known issues. I pay a ton of money for this thing to work and this nonsense from support is very annoying.

Please update to the latest version of Photoshop CC 2017 and try printing again.
If you are still seeing the issue please be sure to try Jeff Tranberry's steps to resolve.
Thank you and please let us know if you are still seeing issues after the update.

Is your driver up-to-date? As David suggests, just updating the driver may not work. You need to delete the driver, delete the printer, install the latest driver then install the printer.
Also, see this document from Apple on troubleshooting printing on OS X: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201539
I know that QE did test an array of currently supported printers on Sierra: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-and-mac-os-sierra.html Not all printers through the years have been tested however. Did it work properly prior to upgrading to Sierra? I don't recommend that customers upgrade to Sierra without doing testing to ensure that it will work for their needs with their current hardware (printers) and drivers - especially with older devices and drivers.

Hello all,
Upgraded to macOS Sierra. Try to print a jpeg image in Photoshop CC 2015.5, once 'Print' button is hit, the app unexpectedly quit. Tried a few images different format - PNG, PSD same issue.
Canon printer driver should be fine because I can print from Preview and Word.
Thanks.

It has been discovered that printing to a variety of printers from Photoshop 2015.5 on a Mac
with macOS Sierra causes Photoshop to crash. Log files have been generated and sent to both Adobe and Apple. Lightroom works just fine for printing as well as all other apps.
here is a link to the thread in Apple communities with others with the same issue.:

I had an issue is whenever i Print from any app and give print command it use to crash.
I write on apple forum and they replied with one link and 3rd option from there worked for me like a charm.
Article Link:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203343
- Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners.
- Control-click anywhere in the list of devices, then choose “Reset printing system” from the shortcut menu that appears.
- From the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder. Type
- The Printers folder opens. Choose Edit > Select All to select all items in the folder.
- Choose File > New Folder with Selection to put all of the selected items into a new folder named New Folder With Items.
KUDOS to apple :)/Library/Printers/
and click Go.in my case after go to step 3 i just delete the all the items (files and folder) in it and install printer driver again from there site.
Works perfectly i have xerox Phaser 7760DN printer.
Good Luck Guys !!

All my apps including Lightroom CC print just fine (maybe the
Photoshop folks should talk to the Lightroom folks once in a while)!!!
It is only Photoshop CC that crashes!!!!
